Julian Herr specialises in dispute resolution, litigation and arbitration. 

Before joining MANNER SPANGENBERG, he completed his legal traineeship (Referendariat, Second German State Exam, Celle, Lower Saxony 2020) with stages at the Litigation & Trial Department and International Arbitration Practice Group of the international law firm Latham & Watkins LLP as well as the in-house legal departments of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and the Hanseatic Investment and Business Development Bank. Prior to his legal traineeship, he spent several months at the Litigation, Arbitration and ADR department of Noerr LLP.

Julian Herr studied law at the University of Hamburg (First German State Exam, 2018). During his studies, he participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition where he and his team qualified for and attended the competition’s International Rounds in Washington D.C. after coming in third place at the German Nationals. Subsequently, Julian Herr supervised the Jessup Moot Court Team of the University of Hamburg in 2016. In 2019 he was part of the coordination and organisation team for holding the German National Rounds in Hamburg.


Julian Herr’s working languages are English and German. He also has a basic knowledge of Spanish.
