Marie Grüger specialises in dispute resolution, litigation and arbitration. She assists companies and individuals in navigating complex disputes in all areas of business and commercial law.
Before joining MANNER SPANGENBERG, Marie Grüger practised two years as an attorney in the Commercial Litigation department of the international law firm White & Case LLP in Hamburg (2019-2021). She gained broad experience in navigating insolvency and corporate disputes as well as mass litigations.
Marie Grüger completed her legal traineeship (Referendariat, Second German State Exam, Lower Saxony, 2019) with stages at the Senate Chanellery of the city of Hamburg in the department for International Cooperation, the Litigation, Arbitration & ADR practice group of Noerr LLP in Frankfurt am Main and the Competition Law department of Allen & Overy LLP in Hamburg. She also worked as research assistant with Corinius LLP in Hamburg.
Marie Grüger received an LL.M (with distinction) in the field of dispute resolution at the University of Cape Town (South Africa) in 2016. She studied law at the University of Heidelberg (First German State Exam, Baden-Württemberg, 2015) including an exchange semester at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. During her studies, Marie Grüger also worked as a student assistant at the Institute for Comparative Law, Conflict of Laws and International Business Law at the University of Heidelberg and in the Litigation, Arbitration & ADR practice group of Noerr LLP in Frankfurt am Main. She holds a certificate of the International Baccalaureate from Ardingly College (UK).
Marie Grüger’s working languages are English and German. She also has a very good knowledge of the French language.
