Lennart joined us in November as a fourth year Associate from the Berlin office of Greenberg Traurig, where he had practiced in the Litigation and Technology practice groups. Lennart specialises in dispute resolution, litigation and arbitration and has vast experience in representing and advising clients in contentious situations and legal proceedings. Lennart also advised companies and the public sector on major IT, software, telecommunications, and infrastructure projects and was seconded to a leading global FinTech corporation.
Lennart completed his legal traineeship in Berlin with stations in the arbitration practice group of a leading German law firm and the German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy. He studied law in Germany and Paris and obtained his doctoral degree (magna cum laude) from the University of Bremen. During his doctorate he worked at the institute for international private law, civil procedure, and comparative law of the Free University of Berlin. Lennart also participated in and coached for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and was awarded the Martin Domke Award for the Best Individual Oralist.
Lennart is a passionate tennis player and, at times, was ranked as high as number 1488 in the ATP world ranking and 100 in the German national DTB ranking.
